Bewitched MHF

1.png

Pax Asgard af Pegasus (Pegasus Vom Niehaus-Hof - Ambrosius af Asgard) x Royal Velvet VDH (Royal Prince - Bonjour)

Bewitched MHF is a carbon copy of her dam – she is inquisitive, gentle, and more than happy to participate in whatever you request of her. Bewitched is a fast learner and is eager to please. She has a strong hind end and topline with a good, strong foundation.

Bewitched’s sire is Knabstrupper stallion, Pax Asgard af Pegasus. Pax is quickly becoming one of the most prolific sires of high quality Knabstrupper offspring in North America. He is proving to be a versatile and powerful horse – Pax is ridden in dressage, driven in harness, and has recently started jumping and is showing serious natural jumping talent. In 2021, Pax competed in the Get of Sire class at the world-renowned Dressage at Devon earning a Bronze with a collective mark of 77.15 points to finish behind serial winner KWPN sire Sir Sinclair and the 7-year-old Oldenburg stallion Davos CF and beating out several traditional Warmblood stallions. Pax and his offspring are paving the way to a spotty and sporty showring.

Bewitched’s dam, Royal Velvet is a Premium Main Mare Book mare who as a youngster was awarded Reserve Champion and Premium ISR/OLD-NA filly. Royal Velvet had a hunter career prior to joining Murder Hollow where she began dressage and driving training. Royal Velvet has been schooling and showing in dressage with an adult amateur and was trained to harness by USA pair and four-in-hand world champion, Jimmy Fairclough. Royal Velvet is one of the most pleasurable horses to ride or drive – she is happy to work and has never placed a foot wrong. She is the definition of “amateur friendly”. Royal is happy to hack out or school in the arena and is comfortable driving on the road or in fields as a single or pair. Royal Velvet’s sire, Royal Prince, was named the USEF Dressage Breeding Sire of the Year for 5 consecutive years and has twice represented the US at the FEI World Championships for Young Horses, including a 4th place finish in 2004, and competed through Prix St. Georges. Royal Velvet’s dam, Begonia, is by the Selle Français stallion, Bonjour.
